Hi! I'm Erika!

Photographer, storyteller, country girl, wife, mum of three and probably the person who will get a little too excited when the light hits just right.

I'm a Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer based in the beautiful country-side of Hawkes Bay, New Zealand - but I'll happily pack my bags and follow your story wherever it takes me.

I've always been drawn to the real stuff. The messy, beautiful, imperfect parts of life that you don't necessarily think to photography at the time, but become the things you miss the most. The way your kids laugh. The look you partner gives you when they think you're not watching. Your dad getting emotional during your vows. The chaos of everyone getting ready. Bare feed, dirty knees, happy tears, big hugs and belly laughs.

That's what I want to photograph

I'm not here to turn you into models or make your family fit into a Pinterest-perfect mould. I'll guide you when you need it, but I want you to be yourselves. I want you to move, laugh, cuddle, dance, cry, and make a little bit of mess.

Because your story doesn't need to look like anyone else's.

Outside of photography, you'll usually find me at home on our little patch of countryside with my husband, our three boys and far too many animals. I'm happiest with an iced coffee in hand, muddy boots on my feet and something growing in the garden. I love the quiet country life, old things with a story, beautiful light and making memories with the people I love.

And I think that's probably why I care so much about photographing yours.

Life moves ridiculously fast. The babies grow, the kids get bigger, the seasons change and suddenly the version of life you're living in right now is gone.

So let's slow it down for a little while.

You bring your people.
